  6. If you prefer the classic look and feel of rim brakes, but want to benefit from the more compliant and more lightweight carbon frame, then the 4000 could be the perfect bike for you. Ideal for long training rides or challenging club outings. While disc brakes have made great inroads into the world of road cycling, we like to keep the rim brake option in our range for riders who prefer the classic look. With a less aggressive geometry compared to the top end SCULTURA range, the 4000 combines the smooth shifting and reliable 105 groupset from Shimano with a full carbon frame and tapered carbon fork. The 4000 is a classic road bike with whippet-like acceleration, proven climbing pedigree and impressive riding comfort that will make long hours in the saddle exhilarating and fun. Rather than featuring the more aggressive and race-proven geometry of the CF5 and CF3 models, the CF2 and aluminium SCULTURA models retain their slightly more relaxed geometry. Within this family, we offer our bikes with powerful and easy to modulate disc brakes that deliver constant braking power even in wetter conditions or the more price aggressive rim brake alternative. Due to the less aggressive geometry, our CF2 and aluminium models are ideal for riders who are getting into the sport as well as for those who prefer a slightly more upright position when hitting the lanes.
