Description

Prism with recycled materials

The Prism made of recycled material is Elite's new bottle cage made of regenerated plastic.

A more sustainable version of Elite's renowned Prism as it's made with regenerated plastic material sourced from pre-consumer recovery resources.

Like the Prism Carbon cage, the Prism made from recycled material feature the distinctive side-load structure which is designed to provide easier bottle access on smaller frames and tight spaces.

Reducing our ecological carbon footprint step by step

Businesses need to acknowledge their responsibilities when it comes to global pollution, and Elite wants to act accordingly. We have decided early on to do everything in our power to reduce our ecological and carbon footprint. We are excited to start new strategies to provide our customers with more ecological friendly products and raw materials of excellent quality for resistance and durability.

The new Elite Prism is composed of over 67% pre-consumer recycled plastic material, primarily sourced from the industrial textile sector. This material is more precisely classified as secondary raw material because it is made up of plastics from recovered material collected after production and reprocessed for the production of new products.

Perfect for bikes with bikepacking bags

Elite's Prism cages are side-entry bottle cages designed to make water carrying a more practical solution – particularly for mountain bikers and gravel bikers. Gravel bikes and MTBs have smaller bike frames and geometries that make top-loading bottle waters rather challenging from time to time. Same when you're riding with bags for bikepacking.

The Prism models also ensure great comfort to left-handed riders who can choose a left-hand loading cage to easily manage bottles while riding.

In fact, Prism Right and Prism Left models will grant access to your bottles with regular opening to the left or right when mounted on transversal oblique down tubes, but they can change the insertion direction when mounted on seat-tubes, the main tube of the bicycle.

Find out everything about the insertion directions on the technical specifications at the bottom of the page.

A shared responsibility

Elite's mission is deeply rooted in sports, which has always placed the individual's well-being and fulfillment at its core.

We believe that cycling extends beyond the finish line: it's an experience that shapes our character and allows us to discover the world through the journey, pedal stroke by pedal stroke.

This journey is accompanied by a profound responsibility towards the environment that surrounds us and that we explore by bike. At Elite, we commit to treating others and our planet with the respect they deserve.

Discover all the initiatives that Elite is committed to implementing to spread the culture of sustainability and put it into practice, from designing eco-innovative solutions to creating new ways to reduce waste and recycle materials and energy.
